An Attempt to Cast Whole Figures

Now that I have tried recasting with a successful usable head, my next step is trying to cast a whole figure.The 1st step is breaking apart a whole figure. Tutorials are available online for those who want to attempt this, but this can damage a figure very badly. I suggest starting with a fodder.



Here is a picture of Marvel Universe 3.75 Mysterio body that has been broken apart and that I have added some details using Epoxy waterstop. Casting a whole figure may be possible in the future but not right now. The ankle swivel is one whole bar and I still have not figured out how to break this apart. More study is needed to be able to cast a whole figure. So that part of the journey is on hold for now.

As mentioned above, breaking a part figures is a dangerous process for your figures and can damage them. This picture shows the peg has been damaged and I have replaced it with a screw,
